Leisurely, mutely, the moon has come
Walking across the night in her silver attire;
This way, and that, she peers, and sees
The ray less sun,
Lying tired with Day's journey done,
Shedding its last ebbing light
On the earth
She sees and feels conceit
By the sun’s defeat!!
Now she is the Queen of the sky
With silver hair and silver eye;
She has stars with her
As her friends
Praising, teasing and confiding her
The sky is lighten up with all blue and silver light
It could see the Queen’s delight
She is smiling as if she is a bride
Waiting for her bridegroom to take her beside!!
